We were on vacation in Brazil, enjoying the beautiful beaches of the Northeastern coast, when we received a message from Marília via Instagram. She knew we lived in Sweden but she followed our work on social media and saw that we were on vacation in Brazil, so she decided to take a chance and contact us. Everything started with a simple: “Are you still going to be around here for longer this year? I’m going to get married in September and I love your photos”. And that was the beginning of what would become not only a contract but a friendship.
We kept in touch on WhatsApp. The Två Löv team , Marília and Wesley were in sync and the plans were gaining shapes, shades and colors as we kept communicating on WhatsApp.
There were two pre-wedding sessions and a full coverage of the wedding.
For the first photosession we went to an equestrian center / riding school, called Muguet Champions Team. And what a beautiful photosession that was. Marília loves horses and the photo shoot with the animals was so beautiful. The local staff were super cool and the afternoon was delightful. It had that atmosphere of countryside and coziness.
The very next day we went for an adventure worthy of the best of the Indiana Jones films. We traveled by car on dirty roads, crossed a river on a ferry, crossed wild farm fields, until we reached a forest and the final destination: The ruins of an old cathedral, which remains standing only because of a tree that grew between the walls, holding the structure! What a wonderful place! What a fun adventure! Many stories to tell, lots of laughs … And we felt even safer during the adventure, because we were scouted by Uriel – Segurança Fotográfica. (He even took a little portable soundbox, and together with his good sense humor, played a few little background during the photosession at that fantastic place. Hahaha)
On the way back we were blessed with an unforgettable sunset. Unfortunately we could not photograph nor film it because we had to catch the last available ferry to get home safe.
And then came the big day! What a beautiful day. What a beautiful place. In a beautiful outdoor garden… A ceremony just for family and close friends … Fantastic!
Hurry up. Join us on this big tropical adventure
